The Bay City Poultry Club was founded in 1921 by a group of dedicated poultry enthusiasts in Bay City, Michigan.  For many years the club held its annual "Midwest Roundup" shows in various locations around Michigan, including Bay City, Midland, and Alma.  In 2007 the club changed its name to the Michigan Poultry Fanciers, the show name was changed to "The Fowl Fest" and the show moved to Frankenmuth.  In 2011 show moved to Birch Run.
